Project Overview:

Our client’s newly purchased dining table with vibrant orange linen chairs set the tone for the design. We carried this playful palette throughout the space, using a white performance fabric sofa accented with orange velvet pillows and whimsical cushions in chartreuse, peacock, and bright green. Teal velvet swivel chairs added both comfort and richness, while a wool area rug grounded the room with subtle shades of cream, teal, rust, and blue.

We incorporated a modern cocktail table with an inverted form and paired it with hexagon-shaped end tables for contrast. Functional vertical overlapping window shades provided a sleek solution, perfectly suiting the room’s contemporary feel. To address the floor-to-ceiling fireplace, we collaborated with a contractor to add layered stone in cream, gray, and gold tones, bringing texture and visual interest.

Cabinetry flanking the fireplace, finished in a warm brown stain to match the hardwood floors, included floating shelves to maintain an open, airy feel. The oversized drawers provided ample storage for barware, supporting the client’s desire for a bar area to entertain guests. The result was a cohesive, colorful, and inviting space that combined modern style with comfort, leaving the client delighted with their transformed home.
