Sunny Sunroom

Working on the Sunroom project was a personal experience. The client’s vision was to transform the space into a tranquil sanctuary—a quiet retreat for enjoying morning tea or reading a book, away from technology and noise.

Project Overview:

To highlight the architectural interest of the space, we accentuated the angled vaulted ceiling. The heavy wood beams draw the eye upward, emphasizing the height and slope, while ceiling fans were installed to promote natural air circulation. A charming art piece featuring a lazy bear was incorporated to complement the room’s relaxed vibe.

To enhance the abundance of natural light, we chose a light and airy aesthetic. The design features a cozy, small-scale sofa in white performance fabric, accented with warm gold geometric pillows. We also integrated the client’s cherished rattan chair by adding a custom seat cushion and a decorative pillow to coordinate with the new sofa.

Functional pieces include a corded rope ottoman for versatile seating and a round coffee table with a natural wood finish and charcoal metal legs. The room is grounded by a large, hand-woven area rug. With its subtly ribbed pile in wheaten beige and tan, the rug adds essential texture and warmth to the space.

The strategically placed greenery in multiple sizes and shapes brings the outdoors into the space, adding warmth and a calming structure to the environment! The client is excited to utilize the space and enjoy for years to come!
